Frequently Asked Questions

Giclée (pronounced ‘zhee-clay’) is a fine art printing process that uses high-precision inkjet technology to produce museum-quality prints with exceptional detail, colour accuracy, and archival permanence. The term comes from the French word for ‘to spray’, referring to the microscopic droplets of pigment ink applied to the paper.

We print exclusively on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm—a 100% cotton, acid-free fine art paper with a subtle matte texture. This archival-grade paper is the choice of galleries and collectors worldwide for its beautiful surface, exceptional colour reproduction, and longevity.

When displayed under normal indoor conditions and away from direct sunlight, our prints are rated to maintain their colour and quality for over 200 years. The combination of archival paper and UltraChrome pigment inks ensures your print will be enjoyed for generations.

Our prints are sold unframed, allowing you to choose framing that complements your space. Each print includes a generous white border, making it ready for standard framing or custom mounting.

We offer prints in four sizes: A4 (210 × 297mm), A3 (297 × 420mm), A2 (420 × 594mm), and A1 (594 × 841mm). A4 and A3 prints are Open Editions, signed by the photographer. A2 and A1 prints are Limited Editions of 100, each signed, numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Our Limited Edition prints (A2 and A1 sizes) are restricted to just 100 copies worldwide. Each print is individually numbered, signed by the photographer, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Once an edition sells out, no further prints of that image will be produced at that size.

For best longevity, display your print away from direct sunlight and sources of heat or humidity. When framing, we recommend using acid-free mounting materials and UV-protective glass or acrylic. Handle prints by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the surface.

We currently offer prints in our four standard sizes. If you have a specific requirement, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

All prints are produced to order and dispatched within 3–5 working days. Delivery times vary by destination—please see our Delivery & Returns page for details.
