Copper leaves drift across an emerald lawn in this vibrant fine art photograph from a London park. The annual ritual of autumn plays out in miniature, each fallen leaf a small surrender from the trees above, their warm tones scattered with casual perfection across the still-green grass. It is an image of seasonal transition, of the moment when summer and autumn briefly coexist.

This autumn leaves photograph captures the particular beauty of London’s parks in late October. The plane tree leaves have dried to rich shades of russet, bronze and amber, their distinctive lobed shapes instantly recognisable to anyone who has walked beneath the city’s canopy. They lie where they fell, randomly distributed yet somehow aesthetically balanced, as if nature had composed the scene with an artist’s eye.

The colour contrast is striking in its simplicity. The brilliant green of the lawn provides a complementary backdrop that makes the warm copper tones sing with intensity. This interplay of orange and green, of warm and cool, creates visual energy that elevates an everyday autumn moment into something worth contemplating. A single yellow leaf, still fresh from its branch, provides a subtle accent amid its more weathered companions.

There is something deeply nostalgic about fallen leaves on grass. The image evokes childhood memories of kicking through drifts, of the particular smell of autumn decay, of the pleasant melancholy that accompanies the year’s slow turn toward winter. This photograph preserves that fleeting seasonal moment, making it permanent and present.

Printed in-house on museum-quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm archival paper using UltraChrome pigment inks, this British autumn print is guaranteed to retain its vibrant colours for generations. Each limited edition print is hand-signed and includes a certificate of authenticity.

The warm palette and accessible subject make this London park photograph ideal for bringing seasonal warmth into any interior.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm

Our prints are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a white 100% cotton fine art paper with a subtle, velvety texture. Developed by one of the world’s oldest paper mills (established 1584), Photo Rag has become the benchmark for fine art photography printing.

The natural cotton fibres create a surface with remarkable depth and tonal range — shadows hold rich detail while highlights remain clean and luminous. The gentle texture adds a tactile quality that elevates the image beyond a standard photograph, giving each print the presence of a true artwork.

Photo Rag is acid-free, lignin-free, and produced without optical brightening agents, meaning it won’t yellow or degrade over time. When combined with pigment inks, prints are rated to last over 100 years under proper display conditions.

UltraChrome Pigment Inks

We use professional-grade pigment inks rather than dye-based alternatives. Pigment inks are embedded into the paper fibres rather than sitting on the surface, resulting in exceptional fade resistance, a wider colour gamut, and true archival permanence.

Printed with Care

Each print is produced to order in our studio, hand-checked for quality, and allowed to rest before being carefully packaged. We never outsource to third-party print labs.

Size Dimensions Best Suited For
A4 210 × 297 mm Desks, shelves, and smaller spaces. Ideal for gallery walls with multiple pieces or as a considered gift. Works well in standard frames widely available on the high street.
A3 297 × 420 mm A versatile mid-size print. Suits bedrooms, hallways, and home offices. Large enough to appreciate fine detail while remaining easy to frame and hang.
A2 420 × 594 mm A confident statement piece. Perfect above a console table, in a dining room, or as a focal point in a living space. Requires wall space but rewards with presence and impact.
A1 594 × 841 mm A commanding artwork for larger rooms. Ideal above a sofa, bed, or fireplace. At this scale, the image becomes immersive — fine textures and subtle tones reveal themselves fully.

A note on borders: All prints include a 40mm white border, which provides breathing room for the image and allows for flexible framing options — whether floated, window-mounted, or framed to the edge.

What’s the difference?

An open edition print has no cap on the number produced. It can be reprinted as demand requires, making it an accessible entry point into collecting fine art photography.

A limited edition print is restricted to a fixed number of copies. Once the edition sells out, no further prints of that image at that size will ever be made. This scarcity makes limited editions more collectible and valuable over time.

Size Edition Type What's Included
A4 & A3 Open Edition Hand-signed by the artist
A2 & A1 Limited Edition of 100 Hand-signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity

Why 100?

We’ve chosen an edition size that balances accessibility with genuine scarcity. An edition of 100 allows collectors at different stages to own the work, while still ensuring each print holds long-term value. Once an edition sells out, that’s it — the image is retired at that size permanently.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every limited edition print (A2 and A1) is accompanied by a signed certificate confirming the title, edition number, print date, and materials used. This documentation supports provenance and protects your investment.
