White tiles and a bold blue chevron guide the eye downward in this compelling fine art photograph from an Antwerp car park. The stairwell plunges into bright-lit depths, its curved walls creating a tunnel-like perspective that transforms utilitarian infrastructure into something approaching architectural poetry.

This Antwerp urban photograph finds unexpected beauty in the spaces we pass through without seeing. The composition centres on the descending stairs, their grey treads pulling the viewer down into the frame with irresistible momentum. Walls clad in white ceramic tiles curve inward as they approach the ceiling, softening what might otherwise be a harsh rectilinear space. A navy zigzag stripe cuts across this pristine surface, its angular form providing essential visual interest and wayfinding colour.

The tiled surfaces create remarkable texture throughout the frame. Small dark dashes punctuate the white ground in regular patterns, adding rhythm without disrupting the overall brightness. Fluorescent tubes mounted on exposed conduit cast even illumination that eliminates shadow and emphasises the clinical cleanliness of the space. This is architecture designed for function rather than contemplation, yet the photograph reveals its latent formal qualities.

There is something cinematic about this viewpoint. The symmetrical perspective, the bright light at the passage’s end, the sense of transition between levels and states all suggest narrative possibility. This could be the establishing shot of a European thriller, the descent into an unknown but brightly lit destination.

Printed in-house on museum-quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm archival paper using UltraChrome pigment inks, this European architecture print is guaranteed to retain its clean tones for generations. Each limited edition print is hand-signed and includes a certificate of authenticity.

The graphic composition and minimalist palette make this Belgian urban photograph ideal for contemporary interiors that appreciate found architectural beauty.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm

Our prints are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a white 100% cotton fine art paper with a subtle, velvety texture. Developed by one of the world’s oldest paper mills (established 1584), Photo Rag has become the benchmark for fine art photography printing.

The natural cotton fibres create a surface with remarkable depth and tonal range — shadows hold rich detail while highlights remain clean and luminous. The gentle texture adds a tactile quality that elevates the image beyond a standard photograph, giving each print the presence of a true artwork.

Photo Rag is acid-free, lignin-free, and produced without optical brightening agents, meaning it won’t yellow or degrade over time. When combined with pigment inks, prints are rated to last over 100 years under proper display conditions.

UltraChrome Pigment Inks

We use professional-grade pigment inks rather than dye-based alternatives. Pigment inks are embedded into the paper fibres rather than sitting on the surface, resulting in exceptional fade resistance, a wider colour gamut, and true archival permanence.

Printed with Care

Each print is produced to order in our studio, hand-checked for quality, and allowed to rest before being carefully packaged. We never outsource to third-party print labs.

Size Dimensions Best Suited For
A4 210 × 297 mm Desks, shelves, and smaller spaces. Ideal for gallery walls with multiple pieces or as a considered gift. Works well in standard frames widely available on the high street.
A3 297 × 420 mm A versatile mid-size print. Suits bedrooms, hallways, and home offices. Large enough to appreciate fine detail while remaining easy to frame and hang.
A2 420 × 594 mm A confident statement piece. Perfect above a console table, in a dining room, or as a focal point in a living space. Requires wall space but rewards with presence and impact.
A1 594 × 841 mm A commanding artwork for larger rooms. Ideal above a sofa, bed, or fireplace. At this scale, the image becomes immersive — fine textures and subtle tones reveal themselves fully.

A note on borders: All prints include a 40mm white border, which provides breathing room for the image and allows for flexible framing options — whether floated, window-mounted, or framed to the edge.

What’s the difference?

An open edition print has no cap on the number produced. It can be reprinted as demand requires, making it an accessible entry point into collecting fine art photography.

A limited edition print is restricted to a fixed number of copies. Once the edition sells out, no further prints of that image at that size will ever be made. This scarcity makes limited editions more collectible and valuable over time.

Size Edition Type What's Included
A4 & A3 Open Edition Hand-signed by the artist
A2 & A1 Limited Edition of 100 Hand-signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity

Why 100?

We’ve chosen an edition size that balances accessibility with genuine scarcity. An edition of 100 allows collectors at different stages to own the work, while still ensuring each print holds long-term value. Once an edition sells out, that’s it — the image is retired at that size permanently.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every limited edition print (A2 and A1) is accompanied by a signed certificate confirming the title, edition number, print date, and materials used. This documentation supports provenance and protects your investment.
