Three fluorescent tubes cast their coloured glow across an industrial grey surface in this striking fine art photograph. Pink, orange and yellow light bars cut diagonal paths through the frame, each surrounded by its own halo of diffused colour that bleeds softly into the neutral backdrop. The result is an image that bridges the gap between found industrial subject and contemporary light art.

This neon light photograph captures the unexpected beauty of utilitarian illumination. The composition arranges three tubes at different angles, creating dynamic tension across the frame. Each light source generates its own atmosphere: the pink tube at lower left emits a cool magenta aura, the central orange bar radiates warm coral, while the yellow tube on the right bathes its corner in golden luminescence. Where these zones of colour overlap and fade, subtle gradients emerge on the grey metal surface.

The industrial setting becomes integral to the image’s character. Exposed conduit traces a path between the fixtures, its functional lines adding geometric interest without competing with the luminous subjects. Panel joints and mounting brackets ground the composition in physical reality, preventing the image from tipping into pure abstraction. This tension between the mundane and the transcendent gives the photograph its particular resonance.

There is an unavoidable art historical echo here. The deliberate arrangement of coloured fluorescent tubes recalls the minimalist light installations that transformed gallery spaces in the late twentieth century. Yet this is found rather than fabricated, a moment of accidental poetry discovered in the built environment rather than constructed within it.

Printed in-house on museum-quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm archival paper using UltraChrome pigment inks, this contemporary light art print is guaranteed to retain its luminous colours for generations. Each limited edition print is hand-signed and includes a certificate of authenticity.

The minimalist aesthetic and vibrant palette make this fluorescent light photograph ideal for modern interiors that appreciate the intersection of industrial and artistic.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm

Our prints are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a white 100% cotton fine art paper with a subtle, velvety texture. Developed by one of the world’s oldest paper mills (established 1584), Photo Rag has become the benchmark for fine art photography printing.

The natural cotton fibres create a surface with remarkable depth and tonal range — shadows hold rich detail while highlights remain clean and luminous. The gentle texture adds a tactile quality that elevates the image beyond a standard photograph, giving each print the presence of a true artwork.

Photo Rag is acid-free, lignin-free, and produced without optical brightening agents, meaning it won’t yellow or degrade over time. When combined with pigment inks, prints are rated to last over 100 years under proper display conditions.

UltraChrome Pigment Inks

We use professional-grade pigment inks rather than dye-based alternatives. Pigment inks are embedded into the paper fibres rather than sitting on the surface, resulting in exceptional fade resistance, a wider colour gamut, and true archival permanence.

Printed with Care

Each print is produced to order in our studio, hand-checked for quality, and allowed to rest before being carefully packaged. We never outsource to third-party print labs.

Size Dimensions Best Suited For
A4 210 × 297 mm Desks, shelves, and smaller spaces. Ideal for gallery walls with multiple pieces or as a considered gift. Works well in standard frames widely available on the high street.
A3 297 × 420 mm A versatile mid-size print. Suits bedrooms, hallways, and home offices. Large enough to appreciate fine detail while remaining easy to frame and hang.
A2 420 × 594 mm A confident statement piece. Perfect above a console table, in a dining room, or as a focal point in a living space. Requires wall space but rewards with presence and impact.
A1 594 × 841 mm A commanding artwork for larger rooms. Ideal above a sofa, bed, or fireplace. At this scale, the image becomes immersive — fine textures and subtle tones reveal themselves fully.

A note on borders: All prints include a 40mm white border, which provides breathing room for the image and allows for flexible framing options — whether floated, window-mounted, or framed to the edge.

What’s the difference?

An open edition print has no cap on the number produced. It can be reprinted as demand requires, making it an accessible entry point into collecting fine art photography.

A limited edition print is restricted to a fixed number of copies. Once the edition sells out, no further prints of that image at that size will ever be made. This scarcity makes limited editions more collectible and valuable over time.

Size Edition Type What's Included
A4 & A3 Open Edition Hand-signed by the artist
A2 & A1 Limited Edition of 100 Hand-signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity

Why 100?

We’ve chosen an edition size that balances accessibility with genuine scarcity. An edition of 100 allows collectors at different stages to own the work, while still ensuring each print holds long-term value. Once an edition sells out, that’s it — the image is retired at that size permanently.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every limited edition print (A2 and A1) is accompanied by a signed certificate confirming the title, edition number, print date, and materials used. This documentation supports provenance and protects your investment.
